Inside Meow Wolf Denver, is the Indigenous Futurist Dreamscapes Lounge, a multimedia installation devoted to the meta-realistic painting of Denver artist Stevon Lucero, whose detailed dream-inspired murals fill the room. Adrian Molina, aka artist and MC Molina Speaks, led the collaboration which features his music and video art. Their statement declares the lounge, “a space for humanity, indigeneity, co-existence, creativity, and radical imagination.This space bends past and future. Toltec, Mexica (Aztec), Chicano, and Afrofuturist traditions come together to blend the waking world with the dreaming world.”Chill in this liminal space between reality and dreams.
