Meow Wolf is a safe haven for the LGBTQIA+ community every month of the year but this month, we’re celebrating love, inclusivity, and authenticity for Pride Month across all our exhibitions.

It’s a drag-eat-drag world out there, but fret not friends! The House of L’Whor is proud to present your full-coverage survival guide. WE ARE HERE (period): A Drag Guide to Pride features Jessica L’Whor, Lulu Alnite, Zimmorah Mei, Talia Tucker L’Whor, Ryan Stone, Foxy Cox L’Whor, Porsha DeMarco-Douglas, and Mariah Spanic.
The Storybook Kiki Ball presented by House of Flora

The House of Flora is a KiKi house that originated in Portland, Oregon est. 2016 by Legendary Passa Flora, and in 2018, the house expanded its roots in Denver, CO, under the direction of Valentino Valentine, AKA Mother Flora.
Valentino Valentine, founder of Denver KiKi Sessions and Mother to not only the premier KiKi house of Denver but the premier house of the State of Colorado, is responsible for kicking off what we’re now experiencing — the Denver KiKi scene. The House of Flora has been seen elevating the subculture of Denver, collaborating with both local and large-scale companies, and building safe spaces for BIPOC QTs since 2018.
Once again, Valentino and their house are excited to share that Flora Flavah will be performing at Meow Wolf for The Storybook KiKi Ball. Check out our Q&A with Valentino here.
2023 Denver PrideFest

🌈 June 24: Bring the whole family to walk, run, roll, or sashay in the 5k with Meow Wolf staff to support the The Center on Colfax.
🌈 June 25: Denver Pride spans 14 blocks of Colfax Ave. from Cheesman Park to Civic Center Park, beginning at 9:30am. We’ll be marching in the parade, so come celebrate with us and say hi!

Planet Taz: A Queer Prom, Presented by Meow Wolf and Santa Fe Human Rights Alliance (HRA)

Join Meow Wolf and the Santa Fe Human Rights Alliance (HRA) for an inclusive Queer Prom for all ages. We’ve teamed up to invite the young and the young at heart to join us for a night of wholesome nostalgia in the weirdest prom venue around.
No prom would be complete without a theme. This year is galactic Y2K in honor of Shontez ‘Taz’ Denise Morris, beloved former Meow Wolf employee and HRA board member. See you there, dancing in your early 2000s prom best!
Transgender Cultural Fluency Training

Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico's Transgender Cultural Fluency Training lays the foundation for participants to gain a better understanding of what it means to be transgender, to clarify common misconceptions about transgender people, to become familiar with the challenges transgender communities face, and to learn ways to be a strong and engaged advocate for transgender people.
Event is open to all inside Rainbow Rainbow, no ticket or RSVP required, but there is limited capacity so this event is first come, first serve.
Santa Fe PRIDE Parade

Santa Fe’s PRIDE Drive Parade will start at 11:30am in the Lamy Building parking lot (413 Old Santa Fe Trail), then head north on Santa Fe Trail, past La Fonda Hotel, to the Plaza, stopping at Palace Ave.
After the parade, the festivities keep going in the Historic Santa Fe plaza with shopping and dancing to music by Guest DJ Ultra Naté.

Meow Wolf Las Vegas Pride Events 2023
During the month of June, shoppers can purchase Pride in a Can in-store at Omega Mart with all proceeds going directly to The Pride Tree. The Pride Tree is a local Las Vegas nonprofit that provides programming to LGBTQIA+ youth that are in need of a safe space after school and during summer break.

The second annual 2Spirit celebration will feature musical and spoken word performances held at The Center, an organization that supports the LGBTQ+ community in Southern Nevada. Pride is rooted in the liberation of black and brown trans communities. We recognize that our ancestors were sacred people with gender fluid identities who paved the way for the spaces we get to live in now.
Pride Month in Las Vegas is mostly enjoyed during the slightly cooler month of October, but we will give you a head start!
Vegas PRIDE Festival
October 6-7, 2023
Don’t let the quiet afternoon vibe at Craig Ranch Regional Park fool you – this is the 40th year of the Vegas PRIDE Festival and it is going to be fabulous! There will be major performances, a pet PRIDE contest, and specialized areas, including a designated Kids Zone, a Teen Pride area, an adults-only Proud & Kinky space, and so much more.
