The best way to start a new year is with music you love. Our January selections for the Meow Wolf venue space are top notch. So warm up by poppin' and lockin' it!

Don't stay at home running up costly heating bills! Meow Wolf's venue space is generating all the January warmth you'll need! Before we get to the goods, a quick housekeeping announcement: We'll be closed for renovations January 29th through February 12th. On February 13th we'll reopen with a special pre-Valentine's Day performance from Poppy!

Sunday, Jan 7: School of Rock ABQ Presents Led Zeppelin

School of Rock Albuquerque's Performance group, made up of high-school-aged students, will be performing all your favorite Led Zeppelin hits.They will be supported by School of Rock ABQ's Rock 201, their middle school Rocklets. Rock 201 will jam out a Reggae Rock set and a Yacht Rock set.It'll be a night filled with plenty of different genres of music that showcases New Mexico's up-and-coming rock stars!

Friday, Jan 19: Octopus Project

The Octopus Project has been releasing joyous party music since 2002, following a musical path that veers through blown-out rock’n’roll, vibrant electronics, surreal pop and expansive psych landscapes.Touring clubs and festivals worldwide both on their own and as handpicked support for artists as diverse as DEVO and Aesop Rock, Octopus Project has earned a reputation for explosive live shows and immersive audio-visual experiments.

Monday, Jan 22: Jessica Lea Mayfield

Jessica Lea Mayfield will make some people uncomfortable with the level of honesty she projects on her latest LP, Sorry Is Gone, but she’s not going to apologize for it, or for anything else on her complex, confessional fourth album.Recorded with producer John Agnello (Sonic Youth, Kurt Vile, Phosphorescent and Dinosaur Jr.), Sorry Is Gone is a raw document of a woman in progress; one weathering cruel storms but finally able to blame the rain itself for the flood.
